The Chacahoula-Gibson Drainage Project Entails the construction of a new Pump Station which will help to drain the neighboring Bayou, Bayou Black. This project consists of Clearing and Grubbing, Canal Dredging, Pile Driving, Concrete, Road Construction, Demolition, Precast Concrete Assembly, and Equipment Installation. The pump station is equipped with 4EA 60” Vertical Axial Flow Pumps. Each of these pumps are designed to move 250 CFS of water which gives the pump station a total discharge volume of 1,000.00 CFS.
